16/03/2023 – Day 3 of our RPWP3 delivery was to HMP Birmingham. We provided them with dates, prayer mats, Qurans, Eid cards and attar for Eid. Thank you to U.K.I.M Sparkbrook Islamic Centre & Masjid for donating 250 prayer mats and Qurans. Also thank you to B.C Blinds for providing us with a van and helping us to deliver the items.
We were invited to have a look at the chaplaincy offices and prayer rooms, the hospital wing and a prison wing where we were able to have a few conversations with some of the Muslim men about the impact of our Ramadan packs for them during the month of Ramadan.
