09/04/2024 – Following on from the excellent feedback and comments received from our Eid food parcels in 2023, we selected few prisons (manageable to us whilst fasting) this time around to supply with food for Eid celebrations. We were grateful enough to receive a sponsor and donor for the food at HMP Birmingham; Asad Khan from Hussain Solicitors who sponsored Baklava for each prisoner and Midland Catering who donated biryani for each prisoner. The feedback we received focusing on the impact and sense of belonging (to say the least) prisoners felt with this gesture is the reason why we do such projects.
