26/08/2021 – Himaya Haven participated in a short pilot programme for KFC Foundation. This required 3-6 young people aged 11-25 to partake in evaluating 6 project applications submitted to KFC. We had 4 young people volunteering their time with us to help in the decision making pilot. Their opinion of the projects holds 50% weighting in KFC’s final decision of which projects to provide funding to. This was lead by Zobia and our volunteer Ikponmwonsa.
