28/02/2024 – HMP Swinfen Hall were the first prison this year to receive their Ramadan Prisoner Welfare Packs and were collected by the chaplaincy team. Items included, dates, prayer mats, salah literature books, stools for the mosque wudhu (cleaning/washing ritual before prayer) area, Eid cards and attar (non-alcoholic perfume), the latter which will be given on Eid day as a gift from the Himaya Haven team.
