Zobia Hadait BSc MSc

Director/Secretary and Website & Social Media Manager

Zobia Hadait BSc, MSc is a Director/Secretary of the company, alongside Website and Social Media Manager, joining at the founding stage of the company. Zobia’s role includes creating and producing marketing posters for all projects, taking images for the website, producing videos and creating content for our social channels. Zobia has grown our TikTok page to almost 1000 followers and 9300 page likes with our most viewed video reaching 99,000 views. This has led to a new self-referral pathway being created via TikTok, a fundraising stream and a community of families and individuals affected by imprisonment. Zobia updates the website daily/weekly as and when needed, and with no previous knowledge has designed and developed two webpages for a closer insight into Himaya Haven.

Zobia always gets stuck in across the differing projects we have at Himaya Haven and was also the Project Coordinator for our recent new creative prison project – Heritage Behind Closed Doors. This was funded by the Heritage Lottery and focused on the history and heritage of the chosen prison H.M.P/YOI Swinfen Hall. Prisoners from H.M.P Swinfen Hall partook in this project to dive into the prisons history and translate it via art pieces, which were displayed in a week long art exhibition in the community. Visit our project page to read more about it.

Zobia has completed her Masters degree in Cyberpsychology at the University of Wolverhampton. She has also graduated (18/09/2019) from the University of Wolverhampton with a Degree of Bachelor of Science with Honours First Class in Psychology.
