06/12/2018 – Himaya Haven were asking for donations of new toys or money to buy brand new Christmas presents for children of prisoners in HMP Birmingham. However, we managed to deliver toys to four prisons within West Midlands; HMP Birmingham, HMP Brinsford, HMP Featherstone and HMP Oakwood. 
In England and Wales 200,000 children are affected by parental imprisonment. Due to these circumstances it then becomes difficult for single parents to afford presents for what is such a special occasion for many children. We therefore want to aid our ‘silent victims on the outside’ and bring them a smile this winter.
