22/08/2024 – This was the second day we took a group of children and women to experience Ackers Adventure and our final summer activity. The activities included archery, tubing, skiing, bushcraft, zipline and fan descender. What an excellent day of all round fun and excitement for everyone! When split into groups for the bushcraft, each group was able to create a fire, which staff at the ackers had said was not often a common sight, with a previous group not being able to light a single fire. It was lovely to see everyone get stuck in and learning survival skills.
