09/12/2019 – Himaya Haven’s programme of MIND THE TRAP workshop delivered by Raymond Douglas at Waverley Studio College to 2 groups with Year 10,11 and 6th Formers (Over 100 students). Topics covered included Safeguarding, keeping safe, challenging mindsets around their social/media use and their influence of violence and stereotyping, and real life effects of knife and gun crime. We also spoke about HH’s work and the effects of Prison.
