Outreach in H.M.P & Y.O.I Brinsford

25/07/2019 – Himaya Haven’s first outreach session in H.M.P & Y.O.I Brinsford in partnership with Barnardos, where we handed out leaflets to families in the visiting centre and made them aware of our services. We were able to help a mother who’s first time it was visiting at Brinsford and another mother and sister who were in need of emotional support, as she broke down in tears upon conversation. On this visit we engaged with 21 visitors and 4 other service providers of which, 17 were female and 8 were males.
